For my Butterfly Sunday, February 14, 2021 I Opened my Eyes I opened my eyes and woke To find the back of your soft neck, Full of ancient beauty that broke The magnitude of love to a speck. Your hands hold this elegance With tender strength and grace, Comprised of a smile and elements Full of the spheres wrapped in lace. Red and magenta colored pounding You bravely go into aching tenderness, Allowing the crashing and the sounding Waves to wash over you in endurance. Your strength is laid on its bed Released to be restored in peace, You walk exposed and revealed, led With resting eyes you decrease. When time has stopped therein We pause to recollect, that Tomorrow will have been, The place where we have always sat. Veiled secrets we find together, Uncover the mysteries we discover, Anything we can weather, In the splendors of the deep we recover. In fields of crystals and gems We pack these truth

Touching the Void I shuffle to the end of the earth, My toes suspend on the edge, Universe surrounds me in a black birth, Particles drift past in silent pledge. Reaching out my hand, fingers dripping forth. Disintegration of affected cells, Evaporation of self into space, Drawn in to waves of chimes of bells, That hang with soft grace, I wake to leave the broken shell. Awareness is hiding like a stray cat, In the alley of dumped trash cans, Finding the eternal moment life went splat, Disguised in a messy cabinet of pans, Undistinguished chatter comes last. Energy swirls in strange light, Unknown breath exhales out Of my lungs with forced plight, Aching to reroute A new ascension of angled flight. I must venture out to the void, Where the unknow is the place to go, For therein lies the overjoyed, Of finding self and low, That which darkness destroyed. Repair me and I will feel Your presence in the shadows,

17 There was a fire in the kitchen Pot roast cooked too long Caught on fire. Headed to the back door saw it swing Shoes clopped down the steps Out I went. The sun was low and soft in the sky Memories faded by Light gleamed high. Ancient lullabies sang over head Not to be disturbed Echoes danced. Take back nothing you can’t leave behind Proceed with caution Hold on fast. Back in the kitchen smoke curled up I took out the roast Set it down. Bright white Queen Anne’s lace purple flower the middle is the fairy seat. All around colors lay the valley Low under the mist Freshen up. Gentle petals catch the drops of rain Drink up ti

Spacetime Slipping through the void, the pendulum shifting Time and space, dust and red clay sifting Through our fingers gently falling Echoes of memories and past ghosts calling Innocent feet running and hands holding Dreams and dimensions circulating and folding Like a cheap umbrella in the Windy City Where vibrations murmur ancient ditties Smile on the vintage Sun with cosmic rays Beware of blunder fooled through wounded gaze Dangerous invasions of parallel influence and folly Skipping rope on the edge of flattened jolly Luminescent sparkles in the darkening empty Enlightening the consequence of having plenty We hold the inertia in recess of hearts Shopping the isles of beauty loaded in our carts. Straight forward the manifold opens flat Like a damp towel over our eyes whereat We shiver motionless in the vacuum Waiting for our tattered yearn to be weaved on the loom Forget the weight of motionless gravity Leaving

A Poem Blue waves crash On a distant shore. Earth meets sky On a thin blue line. Wind blowing out Over a far away land. Sand swirling In strange light. Harrowing Death upon Ancient stores. Awakening before the Dark light begins to dine. Celestial direction Leading to the band. Orchestrated melodies of old Stirring with their might. Beams of night darken With words of lore. Lost in depths of memories that once were fine. Weakness washes over Heartless to stand. Silence takes over Gleaming softly in the fright.
